(More customer reviews)I bought this press specifically so I could make 10 inch tortillas. After much trial and error what I ended up with were 4 to 6 inch round, thick hard dry lumps. Not at all what I was hoping for. The machine does work well if you roll out your tortillas and cook them on it and also makes very nice quesadillas and decent pitas but I didn't buy it for cooking, I bought it for pressing. So back it went. (My unit also arrived with some finish flaking off by the handle, so I would have exchanged it in any event.)
Not recommended for pressing tortillas. (I ended up buying a press very much like this press - Norpro Cast Aluminum Tortilla Press and pressing the tortillas with it and then rolling them out some more.)
Recommended as a flatbread cooker.
